My Email Accounts Got Hacked

Dear Friends,

My Yahoo account was hacked today.  People from Algeria stole my contacts and erased all my messages and all the important messages I saved for future reference were erased.  My Google account was also hacked.  They even sent a message on this blog asking for money.

To update you about myself.  I am scheduled for cataract surgery in my right eye on Tuesday, December 11.  Then I have to take it easy for two weeks.  That will be the hardest part.  I can't sit still very long. I would appreciate your prayer support for this.

A Day at the Milwaukee Zoo

Yesterday I spent the day with my granddaughter Izzy.  Mommy Naomi was busy taking classes at Marquette Law School.  The weather was sunny and 75 degrees outside, so we went to the Milwaukee Zoo after I dropped Naomi off at school.  At 9:10 am I parked the car on Bluemound Road to avoid the $11 fee to park in the zoo parking lot.

We saw the apes first.  Izzy liked watching the different monkeys.  Then we went to the aviary.   Birds fly freely inside different sections of this building.  We spent quite a long time in the room with a waterfall and Ibis and ducks.  Izzy enjoyed going up and down the stairs to the viewing platform.  We could see underwater while ducks were swimming on the surface by the waterfall.  Sometimes an ibis would swoop down from a ledge above us and land on a railing near us.  Ducks were comfortable waddling very close to people walking through the room to the next room.

We sat outside in Wong's Pheasantry area near the Whooping Cranes.  Izzy enjoyed climbing, walking, and sitting on the fence posts along the walkway.  We snacked on a McDonald's sausage biscuit and graham crackers.  Izzy liked opening/closing my water bottle, taking the lid off/on her sippy cup, and pouring water into her sippy cup.

We went through other buildings with snakes, frogs, sharks.  Elephants, giraffes, lion, tiger, penquins.  There was a farm area with cows in a barn ready for milking.  Izzy pretended to drive a toy farm tractor and farm truck.
By 2 pm Izzy fell asleep in the stroller so I walked around the zoo for a second time.  About 3:15 pm I walked back to my car and drove back to Naomi's house.  I was tired from a full day at the zoo.

Apology for No Daily Blog from China

I want to explain what happened when we took our trip to China last October.  The Internet connection to Google was blocked and blogging is not permitted from inside China.  I even had trouble sending email messages via Yahoo.  Messages got delivered after I returned home.  So there were no daily blogs while we were in China.  After our return home, life got busy.  I typed a daily report of some of our trip, but it's not finished.  We have thousands of photos and three hours of video from the trip.  One day I will post some of the photos.
